    Right, Lesson's is from northern South America. Young male seedeaters are somewhat similar to females. I dont know the molting sequence but Lined Seedeater starts singing with the gray plumage, another example here: http://www.leedingain.com/2014/03/regua-atlantic-forest-brazil-14-march.html

    Agree that 3 is Southern Beardless Tyrannulet. I think 2 is an immature male Lined Seedeater. Clueless about 4 and 5. Number 4 seems to be a seedeater. Number 5 gives the impression of a larger bird. Notice that neither Ultramarine Grosbeak or Large-billed Seedfinch have been recorded at Regua...
