My Review of a 8x32 EL; 8x30 SLC NEU and a 8x30 CL (all brand new bino's)

I am sorry I think you do have to spend alot of money for good optics. The Swarovski 8.5x42 SV's optically are the best binoculars I have looked through but they are heavy for me. The Zeiss 8x32 FL's are very close to the SV's and they are 10 oz. lighter. I decided I would rather give up a tad...

My Review of a 8x32 EL; 8x30 SLC NEU and a 8x30 CL (all brand new bino's)

Yes. I decided I am not carrying 42mm's anymore. 30 oz. just fatigues me anymore. I got the new Zeiss 8x32 FL's and they were almost as good optically as the SV's but under 20 0z. and I can hold them and carry them all day without my arms and neck getting tired. So I am down to ONE binocular.

My Review of a 8x32 EL; 8x30 SLC NEU and a 8x30 CL (all brand new bino's)

"If you want to shock us, just skip "2nd tier" and go right for where public opinion matters most: the 3rd tier of sub-$250 roofs. Buy them all and start a top-10 ranking with shocking upsets every week! Or are they 4th tier, and Chinese roofs between, say, $350-500 are 3rd Tier? " I really...

My Review of a 8x32 EL; 8x30 SLC NEU and a 8x30 CL (all brand new bino's)

I write my reviews and ratings based on what I honestly feel at the time. They are just my opinions of course like everybodies elses. Sometimes they change with time and experience with new binoculars. There is nothing wrong with having a little fun with these reviews. If you don't like my...

My Review of a 8x32 EL; 8x30 SLC NEU and a 8x30 CL (all brand new bino's)

I buy my binoculars on E-bay or Astromart for usually a 40% discount and then when I dump them I sell them for as much as I paid and often times I make a tidy profit. Sometimes $300 to $400 a pair. Albino's or those kind of reviews are more objective than one person's opinion.

My Review of a 8x32 EL; 8x30 SLC NEU and a 8x30 CL (all brand new bino's)

Yes. The top tier 32mm's are just a matter of what works best for you. They are all very good. The Zeiss has a little less CA and is a little smaller than the EL. The Leica gave me too many blackouts. Tried them all except that Meopta HD.

I have a rudder but it is set for a circle. I keep coming backa to the same starting point.

That's my wife's Jewelry. Don't get any ideas. I guess I can go back further the way E-bay has it designed.

My Review of a 8x32 EL; 8x30 SLC NEU and a 8x30 CL (all brand new bino's)

If you look through my feedback on E-bay you can see remnants of my binocular graveyard. I really have had all those binoculars I am talking about!

My Review of a 8x32 EL; 8x30 SLC NEU and a 8x30 CL (all brand new bino's)

No, I want something more compact to complement my SV so I went back to my old favorite the Zeiss 8x32 FL. I like the SV better than the EDG and a few tenths of a point won't sway me towards the EDG. Besides the EDG is 10x which I don't like and they haven't compared the 8x. The Leica 8x32 HD...

My Review of a 8x32 EL; 8x30 SLC NEU and a 8x30 CL (all brand new bino's)

You know me only first tier stuff. No second tier. I have never lied on Bird Forum. I have told some stretchers but that's it.

My Review of a 8x32 EL; 8x30 SLC NEU and a 8x30 CL (all brand new bino's)

I just sold my Kawasaki ZX14 because I tend to go pretty fast which seems to attract the attention of the local law enforcement. Since my driving record is not stellar I don't think a Veyron would be the best auto choice for me. Isn't it's 0 to 60 time 2.5 seconds? I would tend to test that at...

My Review of a 8x32 EL; 8x30 SLC NEU and a 8x30 CL (all brand new bino's)

I just decided my pump and dump strategy wasn't going to work with so many negative reviews of the CL coming in. I figured I might as well join the crowd and admit they are "second tier." I'll cut my losses before a negative Albino review comes in and dump them on E-bay. No hard feelings.

I didn't trash anything. I just disagreed. This is the USA you are allowed to do that. Your comment is pretty boring actually and your really not saying anything meaningful other than to criticize me.

My Review of a 8x32 EL; 8x30 SLC NEU and a 8x30 CL (all brand new bino's)

"in the second tier". That's it! That's the final insult. I don't want anything that is in the second tier. Second tier, I even hate the sound of that word. Ugh. I am listing my second tier CL's right now. Did I really say I liked the Monarch's better than the FL's. I must have been insane...

My Review of a 8x32 EL; 8x30 SLC NEU and a 8x30 CL (all brand new bino's)

Well the reviews are running about half in favor and half against the new Swarovski CL. One person said they thought the CL was better than the Zeiss FL and then other reviewers thought they were a distant third to the Swarovski EL and SLC. I think I will wait until the objective reviews from...

My Review of a 8x32 EL; 8x30 SLC NEU and a 8x30 CL (all brand new bino's)

My point is that the CL is not the best binocular optically. I have that the SV. But it combines alot of good qualities into one nice compact package. It has very good optics, very good ergonomics, very good build quality, it is very compact and it is backed by very good warranty from a company...

My Review of a 8x32 EL; 8x30 SLC NEU and a 8x30 CL (all brand new bino's)

I am not really saying that. Sorry if it sounded that way. What I mean is that Swarovski came out with a new line of binoculars the CL's. Since they are new and a total redesign I think it is possibile that they could make a pair of binoculars that represented a better value than the EL's. Not...

My Review of a 8x32 EL; 8x30 SLC NEU and a 8x30 CL (all brand new bino's)

What you have to remember is that technology in binocular development has come a long way and as the Chinese have shown it is possible to build better binoculars for less money now. Don't always let price persuade you into thinking one binocular has to be better than another because it is more...

My Review of a 8x32 EL; 8x30 SLC NEU and a 8x30 CL (all brand new bino's)

Do I get the house? Sorry, but the more I think about it these one person subjective reviews on Bird Forum are worrisome to me. They are all over the internet and people read them and sometimes make a purchase decision based on one person's opinion. I called nobody a liar you reported what you...
