    Midpriced binocs for tropical birding?

    Every guide I have had in Costa Rica especially in the Monteverde Rain Forest have had Leica BN's because they are bulletproof and will take a beating and keep on ticking. I personally wouldn't trust a Zen Ray or Nikon M7 in that kind of wet climate under those jungle conditions. A Leica 8x42...
