    Swarovski Habicht 8x30 W.

Yes, I find the green bigger GA eyecups almost perfect on the Habicht 8x30 W. They are 38.2mm O.D. and my Swarovski SV 8x32 eye cups are 39mm O.D. So they pretty close to ideal. The black Habicht 8x30 standard issue eye cups are only 36mm O.D. so they are too small. They go into your eye sockets...

    Swarovski Habicht 8x30 W.

Interesting. You got lucky on the fit. Thanks a lot for the information. 40mm O.D. is a nice size for your eye sockets. Do they change the eye relief any?

    Swarovski Habicht 8x30 W.

So all the Habicht's in the black leather model GA use the same size in diameter black rubber eye cups? It is only the 10x40 GA and 7x42 GA Habicht models that use the bigger diameter green eye cups but they are all interchangeable? Swarovski does not make an 8x30 GA model. Thanks.

    Swarovski Habicht 8x30 W.

How did you put those on? Do they just slip over the standard Habicht 8x30 W black eye cups? With the bigger eye cups on how big is your O.D. in mm? Thanks.

    Swarovski Habicht 8x30 W.

The eyecups are smaller on the Habicht 8x30W than my 8x32 SV's but I have found you just use the Habicht 8x30W a little differently. With the SV I can jam the eye cups up to my eye sockets and get a full FOV. With the Habicht since the eye cups are smaller in diameter you just rest the eyecups...

    Swarovski Habicht 8x30 W.

The seller in Germany says he only has one 8x30 Habicht W left so if you want it you better act fast. The really nice thing about the Habicht's8x30 W is their weight/performance ratio. I weighed the Habicht's on my scale with the rainguard and tethered objective covers on and it weighed only 20...

    Swarovski Habicht 8x30 W.

That is kind of strange but they look like a reliable seller just no warranty in the USA.

    Swarovski Habicht 8x30 W.

The OD of the Habicht 8x30 W rubber eye cups are 34mm. Maybe Proud Papa could measure the OD of the green GA eyecups as a comparison. My 8x32 Swarovski SV's are 39mm OD. I think Proud Papa said you can't buy the green bigger diameter GA eye cups. Too bad I would like to try a pair. Could you...

    Swarovski Habicht 8x30 W.

Yes, it was actually new. The guy never took it out of the box. It was made in the 14th week of 2012 so it has the latest coatings on it. The last coating improvement was 2012 1st month. S/N A821411160

    Swarovski Habicht 8x30 W.

It will be a LONG time before you see one used in the classifieds. Personally, I would order the one from Germany on Ebay for $787.80(Free Shipping) and not worry about a warranty just self insure with the $300.00 you saved or if you feel you have to have the warranty I would order one from...

    Swarovski Habicht 8x30 W.

I understand your love affair with the 10x50 SV. I love mine to. I have the 8x30 W Habicht, the 8x32 SV, and the 10x50 SV. I guess you could say I am a Swaro Fan Boy. The ER on the Habicht 8x30 W works pretty good for me although not quite as perfect as my SV's. It all depends on how deep your...

    Swarovski Habicht 8x30 W.

Those are really different but I personally prefer the classic look of the Habicht 8x30 W. Also, the FOV of 324 feet for the 10x40 GA versus 408 feet for the 8x30 and the much heavier weight of 28 oz. for the 10x40 GA versus 19 oz. for 8x30 W kind of makes me lean towards the 8x30 W. 324 feet...

    Swarovski Habicht 8x30 W.

They are not deal breaking problems really with the Habicht. You really don't have to move the focus wheel too far and the eye cups aren't that bad. Just little problems. Overall though the Habicht 8x30W is VERY impressive for the money. If Swarovski would put a little better baffling in it to...

    Swarovski Habicht 8x30 W.

Jesus! I forget how good those Habicht's 8x30 Were! The 3D view and light transmission are phenomenal. I think your right on the warranty Proud Papa. The Swarovski binoculars have to bought in North America for the warranty to be good but how often do you have trouble with Swarovski's?

    Swarovski Habicht 8x30 W.

The Habicht's 8x30 W focus wheel is a little tight because they waterproof and the eye cups are a little small in diameter for some people. Other than that they are a beautiful binocular and have some of the highest light transmission I have ever seen in a 30mm binocular. I once compared them to...
