    I don't know the camera, but to me 1/500 shutter speed is way too slow. I don't shoot slower than 1/2000 unless I am using a tripod. I suggest that you go and practise on something stationary,using different shutter speeds. Take plenty of photos and spend time checking the results. Also take...
