    E.g. as Forsman says, in Common Crossbill the outline of the lower mandible is much more gently curved. Also the Parrot's size of the bill is smaller in juvenile birds than adults.

    I meaned that all birds in the first link (#1) are Parrot Crossbills and #13 toobarred ;-) The bill does not look so long as it should be in Common, and that fine bar in the Parrot's greater coverts (#1) possibly refers to 1cy bird! e.g...
