    It really depends what your budget is. The Curio's are definitely one of the best options but I have a few cheaper (and obviously optically inferior) suggestions. For a true discreet pocket binocular you could look at the Pentax FB-8 8x18. It's unique dimensions make it quite easy to slip away...
