    I think from the call. Locals believe that the call is made by "sucking out human eyeballs". Have no idea how it sounds like... must check one day. :D

    I heard that official American name of one bird (Crested Honeycreeper) means "pubic hair" in Hawaiian. American ornithologists were so keen to be politically correct that they overlooked it.
