    My spare pair arrived today, I bought them from OpticsBestBuy at $164.99. The serial number is within the same 1000# range as my other. The hinge is slightly stiffer and the focuser slightly rougher. I have some kind of feeling that the newer is even a hair sharper and possibly even more color...

Finally I ended up with a Vortex Fury, and I think more birders would use it if they were aware of its features. So I thought it would be better not to hide it in the ZenRay...
