    I enjoyed my visit to the reserve yesterday morning, visiting the feeding station, all the hides, and walking further along the path to Kirriemuir than I have before. It was great to finally see a Brambling (on the feeders with the common woodland birds), and there were at least three male...

    Seems like there's plenty of good stuff about at the moment and useful information in the posts above (thanks). I hope to visit the reserve on Monday morning (with fingers crossed for Bearded Tit and Brambling).

    Bearded Tits and Brambling are something I'd like to see so intend to visit Kinnordy when I'm next heading south from Aberdeen. Is the feeding station you mention the one very close to the Gullery hide?

    Thanks for the link. It's a while since I've checked the movements of those Golden Eagles (& nice to see that some new ones about to come online). Didn't realise they would head out to the coast like that... I've looked up for Osprey whilst at Kinnordy but wouldn't expect to see an Eagle!
