    Do know if this 100 Ultima has a rotating tripod collar? Like this 100 Regal. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/617049-REG/Celestron_52303_Regal_100_F_ED_4_0_100mm.html If it does you could possibly use this head as an Alt/Az mount, that is on it's side.
