    Problem here is Will, you've lost 6 months of use with this study! assuming you haven't bought a scope in the interim. Even the worst fit for you would have been more use than evaluating for this long, and owning nothing.

    Field of view. I couldn't use the atx95. I found myself regularly wanting to zoom out more, or spending all my viewing trying to keep the (moving) subject in the view. To the point I wasn't actually watching/identifying birds.

    Hi, I'm not very critical of my optics. And I would miss many defects I suspect. However I did own a Swarovski atx95, and changed to a harpia 85. I do notice ca occasionally with the harpia, which I don't recall ever seeing thru the ATX. Not often, but definitely it exists.
