    In praise of 6x30 binoculars!

    FWIW, I recently had a chance to try a (now discontinued) Fujinon FMT-SX 6x30. I have to say the quality of the view just blew me away. It seemed as fine as the 7x50 and that is saying something. Both of these, by day, beat the 8x30 and 10x50 for sharpness and clarity. Low power, big exit...
