    Yes, I didnt think either bird was dunlin :) Was just trying to describe the behaviour of the smaller bird (last 3 photos)

    Here's 3 more photos of each. With respect to the smaller bird, it wasn't behaving as I would expect sanderling to behave; it was much less frantic, feeding more slowly and methodically like dunlin

    A couple of sandpipers from Rye Harbour this weekend I'm struggling to ID. I'm thinking Red Knot for the first bird (first 3 photos) and possibly Little Stint for the other bird (last 2 photos)? I would have thought any dunlins would have black bellies by May?
