    Amazing pic, enjoyed being behind the scope at far pastures watching them on Saturday, can never get bored of watching kites. 10 years on and they still excite me.

    Cycled up and down the Derwent yesterday, superb views as usual....really must get a scope again and do some proper birding up there ;)

    I will keep my eyes peels for moor farm/gosforth.....I'm around there most days. Do see buzzards there and kites will often be found in the same places so I will be on alert :t:

    :t: been over to derwent valley watching them today, dont see them much now im back in newcastle, but seen about 15-20 kites today.
