    Possible translation confusion here: "it works practically without any lubricants" meaning... "it works with almost no/hardly any lubricants" -- a bit puzzling "it works well in practice without lubricants" -- my guess, also agrees with the claim that risk has been "eliminated"

    Leica have greaseless focusers at least on Ultravids, and presumably Noctivids. Some sort of teflon-like material, and Swaro were struggling with changing theirs recently for environmental reasons. It must be hard to get right, and a rather upscale thing.
