Red-breasted merganser? Lake Superior, Duluth, MN, USA
I saw this bird in Lake Superior in Duluth, MN, USA two days ago. I think it is a red-breasted merganser? Is it normal for the beak to appear dark like this or is it just artifact? Thanks!
