Summer Meet 2011 (1 Viewer)

That will tend to gel nearer the time.... at Spurn they charge per car so if we park up outside the area and car share in there less to pay, and with my car there's nothing to pay as I'm a Yorkshire Wildlife Trust member.

There won't be a charge at all, if there's a YWT member in every car 8-P

Im a definite. What is a good time? 8am for seawatch/vismig followed by waders? What time is high tide roost? Hopefully a nice Pacific Swift on passage plus a nice scarce/rare raptor...

Chalk bank for the roost but beacon ponds would be worth a check after the roost

Beacon Ponds is also at its best for waders at high tide - though they are usually more distant than at Chalk Bank. Last week most of them left as soon as tide started to go out again. However, there are plenty of Terns to see there.
