Richard Lewington Moth Trap Session (1 Viewer)

Just thought that I'd mention this for those of you who aren't too far from Oxford. As part of the Farmoor BioBlitz this Sunday, Richard Lewington will be leading the moth ID session when the overnight traps are emptied. The session is rather early in the morning, being from 8am to 9am at Farmoor reservoir in the marquee near the car park (by Gate 3).

Any questions, feel free to ask.

hi Richard am I to understand you actually emptying on the Sunday morning at 8am? Will there be any chance to photograph the moths as well?
Kind regards. Mike

Hi Mike,
I'm afraid you're a bit out of date there as the event was on Sunday 16th September. Richard Lewington (not me), did empty the traps though unfortunately there weren't many moths to look at as the generator had broken down for trap that was located near the reed beds. There's a write-up here on my blog if you're interested.
