Enjoy the Summer !

Thanks for the heads up Samandag. Got these yesterday for my wife and she is thrilled with them.

They have a great relaxed view with good contrast and a pretty neutral image as far as I can tell.

So they're a bit long and they could focus a bit nearer and have a bit wider field of view but what they do they do well. Compared to my HG 8x32's they're not quite as sharp but you don't feel you're missing anything when using them.

A bargain for £99 including Nikon 10 year guarantee.

This has been listed before but is, this weekend, at it's lowest :

Opticron Imagic BGA SE 7x42 at Uttings, rrp £439.00, sale £219.00, this weekend £20.00 off any orders over £150.00, enter LESS20 at checkout, until midnight Monday 23rd June £199.00 UK/EU.

First Light Optics has the Opticron Discovery 8x32 @ £99 and the HRWP 8x42 @ £185 amongst others in their Summer sale.

Many thanks for the heads up on the Discoveries David, ordered them on Monday evening & they arrived safely this morning well packaged.
I was looking for a replacement compact pair of bins as my well used Opticron Taigas will soon be going to Africa with my daughter & will be donated when she's finished with them.

Thanks again,

John.
