¿Aythya fuligula? (1 Viewer)

HI everybody.

¿Do you see here a clear Aythya fuligula? There were several in the same lake; the others were, but we saw something diferent in this one. We thought of collaris or even a hybrid. At the end we decided fuligula, but still not 100% sure.

What's your opinion?

The picture was taken on november 9, in the north of Spain (Galicia).

The second picture clarifies it: I am afraid it is just a Tufted duck. (well so you got your ID correct).

Head shape and Bill pattern are OK and the dark flanks only indicate it is not fully out of eclipse plumage yet.
