I was very surprised this morning to see a HM twice fly over my local patch. I did not see one there at all in September, and now this.

Is anyone else still seeing them?

while watching th e squacco heron in newton abbot last week, i noticed a couple of hm flying and feeding over courtney park. all the martins have gone for the village i live in.

Still afew around my patch, its still so warm, i think its been a late brood, so they should be away shortly.
PS. Just got back from spain a few days ago, and there were huge flocks over there, + swallows.
