Superb indeed. You caught it in a great setting with the blues of the bird nicely contrasting against the greens in the background. Good pose and composition too. I look forward to viewing more of your photos.

It may be worth signing on in the Gallery as well - just log in with your username and password - as we have quite a few members fom down your way and a geographical foum for birds from your area.

G'day mate. Tell you what sport, thats one heck of a good picture of the Eastern State Blue Wren, I hope you get over to the West and take pictures of the Splended Wren over there.

Hi Tanny,
That's my biggest dream to take pictures of the Splendid Fairy-wren !
I'm pretty sure one day I'll travel across the continent to have these shots done !!!

Welcome and well done with one of my favorite birds too. If you've got some time I would clone out some of the light twigs in the upper right as they distract a little from the subect. I'm looking forward to seeing more from my home town , Neil.

Superb Fairy Wren

Beautiful capture Sar but I agree with Ernie re oversharpening.
I have the same problem and it's a bit of a b..........
My opinion is to get a few edits and pick the one where the shapness does not spoil the result even if it does not seem to have the same bite.
Cheers:Ian Mc
