Seemingly the bird of the moment.. (2 Viewers)

Cheers mate.....still there a couple of days ago. Got some mates thinking about going weekend after Xmas - actually half tempted to go back again....or be really sad and get them to go in January and get it on next year's list too!! ;)

Absolute stunner - have wanted to see one for years. Made a short trip to Zwolle in Holland and there it was....in amongst an industrial estate next to a main road!! But, surroundings aside, the bird was a stonker and performed excellently in front of the gathered crowds, catching voles and eyeballing us all with haughty disdain. Marvellous! B :)

Long way to go for an owl ... but not quite as far as the one a few of us twitched in Sweden a few years back. Brilliant birds and great work Adam.

Cheers everyone :)
And nah, not that far Frank - from home to Zwolle was about 6hrs including the Chunnel crossing! Damn sight quicker than going to Scotland...no roadworks either, even though we crossed three countries. Get back to Blighty and roadworks on the M26, M25 and the M23.....joy!! ;)
Anyway here's another:

Merry Christmas as well. You'd probably have a field day here, where Snowy Owls seem to be popping up all over the place, not that I've yet seen one..............
