My name is Robin, from Fife Scotland. I am recently retired so now have more time for birdwatching. I am only a half mile from the coast, and about 14 miles from Loch Leven and Vane Farm RSPB nature reserve.
I use Leica 8+12 Duovid binoculars.
Great forum

Hi Robin,

May I wish you a warm welcome to Birdforum on behalf of all the Admin, Staff and Moderators. Good to have another Robin here.:t:

I look forward to reading reports of you birding.

Hi Robin and welcome to bird forum.

Loch leven is a name from the past for me as my mum and dad took me and my sister there in the 70's on holiday a couple of times.

ps, 40 now and still going strong!

Hi Robin and welcome to Bird Forum.
As Elizabeth has already said, soon you'll wonder HOW you managed to find time for work once you get addicted to birding and this site!!! Don't try to resist...you WILL!!!!!

I used to live just yards from the coast and it was absolute heaven...ALWAYS something to look at. Now I'm slightly inland, about three miles or so, and it's not as good! Can't wait till the day we can afford to move back to the coast!
