Hi everyone, my name is Jimmy and I live in Edinburgh Scotland.
I hope to learn how to attract more wild birds into my garden and keep them there.

They seem to be all around my neighbours gardens but rarely ours.
I have invested in various feeders for the winter coming up and put a few bird boxes at the other end of our garden.

I hope to learn from you all.

Hello Jimmy and welcome to the forum from all the Staff, I only use Sunflower hearts and 14" seed feeders and they attract all sorts, enjoy and all the best.
 
Hi Jimmy and a warm welcome from me too.

Have you got water for them to drink or bathe in... even an old upturned dustbin lid would do?

All things Scottish can be found here. Also, keep an eye on threads titled something like Scottish Bashes; we try to meet up occasionally and they're always great fun. You'd be most welcome to join us on another if you can manage.

That could be a slippery slope! Once you get started it can be hard to stop.
However, the feeders will bring you (and the birds) a lot of enjoyment.
