This looks like the shed skin of something, but I've no idea what - any ideas? It was about 6mm long.

Looks like the pupal exuvia of some sort of beetle. I'm wondering if it might be from a tortoise beetle pupa? (Google "Cassida pupa" and you'll see what I mean)
