Hi all.

This bird was sighted in Israel, today.

The long beak seems very much Hippolais-like to me.

Would appreciate your help with a full ID.

Thanks.

Thank you guys for your opinions and info.
Kinda odd seeing a Eurasian Reed Warbler on a lawn, away from any stream or pond - isn't it?
I guess that threw me off, though I understand that can happen during migration.

Interesting. I looked up that Caspian subspecies - Acrocephalus scirpaceus fuscus.
It's not uncommon in our neck of the woods, apparently (at least around the Persian golf area, from what i've read), but I was not aware of its existence.

BTW - I'm a bit color blind, which can be quite hampering at times when trying to distinct between species\subs. But it's all good :)
