I spotted this outside my hotel in Tenerife the other day.
Is it a type of warbler?.

I think your bird is a Berthelot's Pipit but I have no first hand knowledge of the species, it's not a warbler that's for sure.
 
Never seen one but was checking my Collins before anyone had replied and phew, came to same conclusion! (common endemic in the Canaries apparently)
 
yes, Berthelot's pipit, seen loads of them in the Canaries, they're charming things to say the least.
