SueO's 2017 List (2 Viewers)

Went down to my place in San Diego County and finally saw a Common Poorwill. They hang out on the edge of the two mile dirt road that leads to my house. I have been hearing them calling at night from my house, but they are up in the hills in the scrub and couldn't be seen. In previous years, I would see quite a few on the shoulder of the dirt road as I drove in or out, so I kept waiting for that and finally got some.
