Lack of Wood Warblers (1 Viewer)

After two 3 hour walks through the Strid woods not a Wood warbler to be seen or heard. Anyone know of a location not too far from Leeds which might be more f
ruitful? This is the first year for a decade when I've had any issues locating them.
Hope it's not in decline. At least the Spotted fly seems to be increasing in numbers and the Pied seems to be holding its own.

Had at least six in Wharncliffe Wood in Sheffield this year, including confirmed breeding. They seem to be doing well in some places and not others.
