Sightings of colour-marked birds can be reported online. For birds within Europe please report details at www.ring.ac
Details of colour-marked birds submitted here are directed to the appropriated colour-ring coordinator who will contact potential ringers and request details are passed back to the observer; because this communication process can take a bit of time please be patient when waiting for a reply.

For sightings in North America please use the form at http://www.pwrc.usgs.gov/bbl/

The birds in question here have most likely been marked in Delaware Bay on the east coast of the USA. The Turnstone in the left phot has a flag with an inscribed unique code, if this can be read then the indivudual may be able to be traced. Please see http://www.shorebirds.skalizar.net/volunteer.html or http://www.fw.delaware.gov/Shorebirds/ for details of Shorebird monitoring in Delaware Bay.
