As always I am up for these things. 17th is as good a day as any.

I'm in as always. It'll be interesting to see if going a week earlier than last year makes any difference.
Can't go any later as we'll be on holiday so 17th is top date for me.
Just bumping this back up the lists.

You don't take part in WeBS counts then Keith?
No Richard no WeBS counts but I do survey a YWT site every year, Hetchell Woods. Used to do BTO BBS surveys.

I'm always up for these things just bloody transport, got let down the last time on the said weekend and I'm away in May and dates haven't been clarified yet for that trip. I want to get down to see the Madrins and hopefully get a snap, shame ill make it one yr. ��

Try and make it ! I've spent hours at Adel Dam , trying to get a better shot than this - /www.flickr.com/photos/ptd/17025627766/ -2 weeks ago at stone hut . Bit too close for the big lens however!

Nice one Dave, any nuthatches coming to the stone hut when you were there?
There were some yesterday when I was there Keith. Must remember to bring seed this year

4-6 nuthatches , 3 tit sp, mallard! , finches usual , 3 mandarins.
No Bank voles at the site but plenty within 100 m.

Had my visit there today, no sign or sound of wood warblers but I was told there are some around. Lots of redstarts, a few pied flycatchers and the usual supporting cast. Took myself up to Simon's seat and was rewarded with a pair of ring ouzels. Couldn't find any whinchat in the two places I'd seen them previously.
Thanks for that Chris, might just have a walk up to the seat myself on Sunday
