Hello!

Please help me identify the bird from this poor photographs from Tembuan Hill close to Tangkoko reserve in July.

Sulawesi Cicadabird?

I've come to Sulawesi Cicadabird by exclusion

It's not White-rumped Cuckooshrike as it doesn't have a white-eye
It's not a Cerulean Cuckooshrike - should be of a distinct bluish color
It's not a Mountain Cicadabird as that species should be at >1200m
Potentially Pied Cuckooshrike - but I would expect it to have much more black and white contrast
And that's more or less it
