Hi Hanna,

I have not been on this forum for too many months now, but am back and catching up on people's threads. What amazing work you have here! The owls are all superb, but I particularly like the Great Gray Owl hunting. That is a very rare species in our area, and one I have tried three or four times on winter trips to find with no luck yet, so it's nice to see your gorgeous painting.
 
The detail on the Ruff picture is out of this world but I still went back to look at the Bittern. I think its the lighting that has won me over on that one :t:
 
I havent posted in a long time. Here is couple of things I have made since last post.

I have tried literally 3d painting. This newt is painted between casted resin layers each 1-3mm thigh. Resin is supposed to mimic water in a bowl.

Other work is a bittern again.

Here is a work from today:

As you can see, I am addicted to back light... I have always loved it and now when I can mimic it, I dont get enough.
