Hi,

Woolworths UK are selling very good little camo tents off at £10.
A very good sized 2 man dome, lightweight and a great hide!

Whoa up there guys! The wife came back from town with one of these last week.I was over the moon until I put it up.It would have been great,if you were three feet tall! The kids have got it now.Ironic really as it is a kids tent(lol).

I could have one of these as a permament fixture on my local patch, great for birding in the pithing rain:t:

Matt

Probably better off getting one of these Ameristep blinds for around £30 from ebay as they are 6 feet high.

I can see it there already Matt, though you'd need to trim some off the legs of the chair if it was to be used inside too. Thtill, if it keepth you dry from that pith thtuff then jutht the job. o:D

Sue.

Probably the states has a far bigger market, so prices are reflected in units sold :)

My original post was on a £10 camo tent / hide, if anyone wants a hide to stand up in then a "cheapo" tent certainly wont be good enough ;-) I have a proper hide, it weighs too much, is not very waterproof and its very small, maybe I will put it in the classified section as it cost over £100 new!

Gosh that was a bit steep(£100) considering it's not waterproof and heavy!!

It would be if I had paid for it ;-)
A friend gave it to me, it is well made but probably an old design, the camo is UK forces DPM but as I said too heavy etc. I have seen them online at £100 and they look excatly the same being sold by a nature photography specialist site. The "cheapo" from Woolies is a lot larger, half the weight and waterproof, also easier to pitch and you could sleep in it without getting a sore neck :)

Here's my cheap hide - one of those temporary wardrobes for bachelors! Cost me about 7quid (converting from Malaysian ringgit). Great for waders and losing weight (it's like a sauna in there under the Malaysian sun)!

I had to cut holes for my legs, since I don't naturally fit into a wardrobe, so just have to remember to put sun lotion on the ankles!
