Hi! My name is Rachel. I’m from Arizona (around Phoenix) and I’ve always loved birds. I’ve been interested in birdwatching for a while but I’m trying to do more of it and work harder at identifying the birds that give me trouble. Looking forward to learning from and enjoying the community here.

Hello Rachel, welcome to the forum. You live in a great state for birdwatching. If you haven’t been to Gilbert Water Ranch try birding the ponds there; and this is a great time of year to do so.

Thanks! I love Gilbert Water Ranch, in fact I was just there this morning. Lots of birds (and other critters) and gorgeous weather, what more can you ask for?
