Birding tour with emphasis on the birds of prey in the country is available in Bulgaria, starting on May 13th. Most of the observations will be carried our in the realm of the birds of prey in Europe - the Eastern Rodopi Mountains. Target species are Black, Griffon and Egyptian Vulture, Short-toed and Booted Eagles, Golden, Eastern Imperial and Lesser Spotted Eagles, White-tailed Eagle, Black Kite, Levant Sparrowhawk, Peregrine and Red-footed Falcons, Honey Buzzard, Long-legged Buzzard etc. Incredible variety of small passerines will be an addition to the checklist, that most probably will reach 200 species.

Cheers!
