Summer Meet 2011 (1 Viewer)

Beacon Ponds is also at its best for waders at high tide - though they are usually more distant than at Chalk Bank. Last week most of them left as soon as tide started to go out again. However, there are plenty of Terns to see there.

We could do chalk bank 11:00-12:00 and beacon ponds 12:15-13:15 with luncheon afterward getting best of both.

shame not to get another Yorkshire forum member tick on the meets.

see you next time GE.

Mark.

Hi thanks for that, yes we are really dissapointed,to be honest it would have been a first for us as I have always been a loner, in the hills of mull. but I will keep looking for your next meet, have a great day, all the best MC

Thinking about tomorrow I came up with 2 species I'd like to see. Slept on it and had a re-think. Massively over-optimistic but...

15 potential year ticks but don't worry none of them are raptors. Rubbish year list

For me - balearic shear, storm petrel or a scarce skua are my wanted although I'm not that bothered, just want to go birding!
