Hi everyone, just finished this painting, Eastern Rosella, oil on canvas, 20" x 24". This is my first serious attempt at painting a bird (normally I use coloured pencils). Would love some feedback :)

Hi :cat:

Nicely captured ....

Very realistic with the 'hump' on the back - I even saw one fledged late last year that had an even more pronounced 'hump'. Very unusual.

Chosun :gh:

P.S. saw some of your drawings last year, and thought that the Musk Lorrikeet was just lovely :t:

Very nice, very realistic, love it. We have a tree in the front yard that the Eastern Rosellas nest in every year. Beautiful bird.

cheers
Chris
