Migration hits a wall (BTO) (1 Viewer)

It wasn`t until yesterday in Hampshire that I had my 1st Willow warblers they seemed to be singing from everywhere,a steady trickle of swallows coming through as well as my 1st Cuckoo of the year.

Steve.

Still quite cold and I read somewhere that some species such as Whitethroat and Lesser Whitethroat are late. Are any other birds late?

I just had my first swallows over Alnwick marketplace on Sunday morning! Last year's birds arrived on 10th April so these two were a whopping TWELVE days late! :eek!:
