Thank you Tim! O:)

Because some of you mentioned my sparrows I think I could post them here altogether. I must confess I saw many birds at the weekend, but haven't done any drawings yet.

Looking at me!

Thank you very much for your kind comments O:)

I found these seagulls deep down in my archive. Each canvas was just 4cm to 4cm. The third one actually looked at me when I took a photo.

Hello! O:)

Are flies that unusual? Ok, on this blog of course. How many flies does a bird catch a day?

Thank you all for the compliments!!!

Today it was not too hot to draw these two guys I observed on Madeira some years ago. They are called turnstones and I found their way of looking for food quite unusual. I'm sure I show you soon O;-)

Ulrike O:)

Great arrangement, love this, very well drawn indeed. Welcome to the forum Ulli.

Thank you for your kind words O:)

I go one with a guy from the cold areas, but I must confess I don't know what kind of penguin I found in the Birdpark Walsrode... Perhaps anybody knows?

Somehow, I hadn't found and looked through this thread yet. Wonderful work! Can't help you with what species the penguin is, but I love how you've rendered it. The fly is a great choice of subject when it is so well done as this! I confess to really liking the sparrow family, so they are very nice to see, as are the turnstones. I've got the thread subscribed now so I won't miss anything else in a timely manner.
