? Micromoth England ID please (1 Viewer)

From our garden. Think it s a micromoth but can't ID it from my books.

Help appreciated please

I think it is a Macro (Yellow Shell Spp hibernica) Colin.

The [so-called] subspecies hibernica occurs in western Ireland and only on coastal cliffs in counties Cork and Kerry, so as this specimen was from Cambridge it's just a Yellow Shell. It's such a variable moth my personal view is that they aren't subspecies, just local forms (at best).
