Small brown bird Strumpshaw Fen, Norfolk, UK (1 Viewer)

Can anyone suggest what this bird is? (see attachment).

I took this picture on Friday 14th April 2017 around about 9.30 am. It is perhaps a little bigger then a sparrow. Given the location (near reed beds), I suspect it is some kind of warbler, but it does not have an obvious stripe through, or just above, the eye. There seems to be a sort of ruffled D shaped patch behind and below the eye. Pink legs rule out a lot of possibilities and the brown eye and black beak might help.
