spring dragons in Honshu, Japan (1 Viewer)

Afternoon all,
it's been 10 years since i went to Japan for a bit of study and walking. I had a brilliant time there, birdwise two trips to Hegurajima were dreamtrips.

Now i would love to go back with a proper travelcamera and eagerness to find Japanese dragonflies, birds and butterflies.

It's hard to find good information on dragonflies (in English).
There's a book wbich costs a small fortune so that's no option.

I did find some specieslists for Japan and some other sites

Apart from Tom Kompier not many dutch people have been dragonfly-searching in Japan. So my own recording-site

Question
I'm going in may/early june. and I will go on fieldtrips mostly in and around Tokyo (Takao and Choshi included) with some overnight trips to Hegurajima / Wajima and probably Atami.

Does anyone of you have any tips for finding the spring dragonflies (mostly damsels, emeralds and some Gomphids) in this area? Any book suggestions, websites...

There is some information about dragonflying in Japan in 'Dragonfly News 72, The Magazine of the British Dragonfly Society'. If you Google BDS you should be able to find it, I think. Feel free to PM me ifyou need any help.
