This mourning dove got tired of looking on the ground, and finally just got in the feeder. A daily visitor, this female red-bellied woodie likes to put one sunflower seed in a thin crack in the board and crack it open. She's fun to watch; I don't seem to bother her at all.

Great observation, I have a variety of woodpeckers, hairy, downy, red-bellied. They all have their favorite spot for cracking seed, the nuthatches follow them and look for leftovers. Cool!
