3 from Pantanal, Brazil Aug (1 Viewer)

George Edwards

Nom de plume
These are from a recent trip to the Pantanal (off the Transpantaneira, Mato Grosso do Norte, Brazil) in Aug/Sep.

Can anyone confirm
1. Greater Yellowlegs
2. Thrush-like Wren
3. ? Some kind of foliage-gleaner or spinetail? Walked around in the leaf litter and made a monosyllabic cheep sound repeatedly.

Thanks Mark! I originally thought Solitary Sandpiper at the time, but then somehow changed my mind when looking at the book (honest)… thanks for that correction. And perfect match for the white-lored spinetail.

No worries George , I had to think about the spinetail though , made my head hurt :-O

And I should have known straight away :smoke:
