I have no chance for it as I can't get away either. My only hope is that I connect with one on the Sierra Nevada next week.

Hmmm - no sign so far this morning. Some 'coarse oaths' being uttered in Overstrand I should imagine.

Schadenfreude is a wonderful emotion, often felt by birders.

Jason

Wasn't there one at Minsmere either last year or the year before?

I can't believe that I was actually parked up in my car at Sherringham on Saturday night/Sunday Morning. I was even watching the Ring Ouzels Sunday morning at the paddocks at Beeston (just where the Alpine Swift has been all day today). That's what i call timing - not!!
