Common Scoters, Bittell, Worcs, UK

A mixture of fifteen females or juveniles treated me to a flying display when I got to the reservoir; but why no males?

A flock of Common Scoters in Worcs is prob as close as most birders get to seawatching in that county.

Adult males leave the breeding areas before females and juveniles- so they have a different autumn timetable.
