Humpback Whales Of North America

These photos were taken on the West coast of North America. The Humpback Whales are one of the most 'athletic' and fascinating cetaceans to watch and photograph. Watch this amazing film clip from the BBC, narrated by David Attenborough.

Fantastic set of photos, Michael. These are absolutely fascinating animals. Where in North America did you take those photos? The BBC clip is exciting and a must-see. Great job.

I've only ever seen them once while on a whale watching trip in Cape Cod Mass. They got real close to the boat.

Nice shots thanks for sharing!

As the forum header says, this is Sea Watch section, a forum for Birders with an interest in Sea and Shore birds.

There is a separate forum Mammals & Sea Life Mammals & Sea Life - from Bears and Foxes to Seals and Fish.
This is the place for matters relating to cetaceans. Impressive and majestic as they are, when I want to read about whales I will go to the appropriate thread. When I come here it is for birds.

This is not personal, or a criticism of your interests, so please don't take it as such.

Don't anybody bother criticizing me for my post. You may not agree with me, but, in this case I am correct.

Twite.
